Project description:

        Project future perfect was intended to rebuild humanity as a perfect superior race compared to those of the rest of the universe, which are comparatively superior to humanity now. Changing the size of the individual was the first step in achieving our greatness and we have set it to that of the Neko race. With the height determined all that was left was to develop the rest of the body. After observing other races within the universe using their individual attributes, we have compiled a list of physical traits that will create the new human. Keeping the torso relatively the same we will introduce a new muscle design to accommodate for greater strength and agility as well as power the new size. The lower half will have a design similar to the extinct species of velociraptor providing the new human with amazing predator-like agility. The head will be equipped with feline ears for superior audio capabilities and the two eyes will be replaced with six, each capable of viewing not only the visible light spectrum, but infrared and ultraviolet as well. The six eyes will also grant the human total awareness of its surroundings. Oral communication has been eliminated do to recreating the mouth to only function when ingesting necessary food substances. To make up for the lack of oral communication we have formulated the new human's brain to have fully functioning telepathy. Other significant changes will include- *information lost*- however these have to be fully developed before implemented on subject.

May 22, ----: developmental problems

        After the government gave us the go on Project Future Perfect and we had chosen the new design for the human, we still had to acquire test subjects. However it is not possible to work with an already fully developed human and so I am pushing for permission to use embryos for the testing. Hopefully there will be no further complications in this necessary step to achieving our right full place in this universe.

June 8, ----: finally . . .

I have been given permission to use human embryos for test subjects, but the government wants to keep it secret due to public opinion on using unborn humans for science. Such a pity that single-mindedness must slow the scientific process.

January 16, ----: success!

After so many failures in the last few months we finally have a subject that has not rejected the new genetic material. It has begun growing in the stasis tanks and within the next nine months all our dreams will be realized with the birth of the new human species. I have decided to name this subject after my beloved daughter, Anastasia, may she rest in peace.

January 21, ----: the future is perfect.

After she was removed from the tank, it was quite clear that this was a success. Anastasia learned quickly thanks to implementing basic knowledge into her brain on how to use this new body. She is growing rapidly and soon will be as tall as me! She couldn't have been more perfect for this as she has a very gentle personality which makes working with her a pleasure as well as ascertaining that she will not be a threat once she reaches her full height. I honestly can't wait to reveal her back on earth.

October 12, ----: some . . . speed bumps.

Anastasia has yet to fully learn the English language but it seems like she understands, she's just such a timid thing that we can't always get her to repeat. She expresses great joy when given social interaction with those she's familiar with, such as Dr. Harding and myself, but is shy around new folk. Also, it seems that some information has leaked to the public's ear that we have been using many embryos and only one has survived to mature. Those upset with us, saying what we're doing is "wrong", could pose a threat to the project.

October 25, ----: depressing losses

The locals have decided what we're doing is evil and attacked the facility. Some equipment was lost and parts of the facility destroyed, but none of that is as awful as Anastasia losing her right arm. We will have to gain additional funding to re-grow her arm but for now we will use a mechanical replacement that will grow as she does. I just hope that she hasn't been scarred from these acts of violence.

November 6, ----: bad news

The government has ordered to abort Project Future Perfect and they are sending a task force to act out their will. However I refuse to allow them to terminate Anastasia so I am requesting the aid of an old friend to get her some place safe, and I've chosen a large rural planet that's greatly forested so she can live in peace without being disturbed. I know my days are numbered because saving Anastasia will definitely get me executed, but I don't care, I cannot sit back and let them dispose of her like some unwanted vermin. She may stand at 13 feet now, but she still feels like my little girl.
